Project manager (Manhattan)

The ideal Project Manager (PM) candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities Include:

The Project Manager will be knowledgeable about all aspects of construction management and will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation

  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients

  • Conduct team meetings. kick-off meetings. weekly project update meetings.

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.

  • Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications) including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders in computer-based systems such as ProCore and Archinet.

  • Set project timeline and schedule

  • Monitor project deliverables

  • Manage the closeout process efficiently including all building permits


Requirements for this position include:

  • 7+ Years of experience in a project management role working in New York City

  • Prior experience in executing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

  • Carry oneself as a leader and knowledge holder of the project while facilitating the decision-making process

  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, with a strong ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

  • Master of sector/project-specific software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite (ex. Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint. etc.), ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam
